Ever shifting boundaries

Boundaries are at the heart of my photographic explorations and study of spatial representation.

We are surrounded by boundaries in constant flux. Natural boundaries where land, water and air meet. Constructed boundaries, between nature and the developed, urbanised environment. National, ethnic and religious boundaries where geopolitics, religious dogma, climate change and resource limitations put stress on established borders and societal cohesion. Cultural constructs that govern daily life. And the boundary of time, between the past, the present and the future.

My blog explores these boundaries through critical research and I launched it as part of an accredited Master of Arts in Photography with Falmouth University. I graduated in July 2022.
